The dragon boat parade is one of the most important components of the Toronto International Boat Race Festival that takes place annually. This year's parade took place on June 13, 2004 at 11:30am. The parade's route began at Queen's Park and made its way to the Ontario Art Gallery, and attracted 50,000 spectators along the way. The Dragon Bike is a new initiative by the Festival this year, consisting of long bike with many pedals riding alongside the Parade. President Alpha Lai and Past District Governor Dr. Kai Ming Kan from our Club as well as the President of the Chinese Family Services of Ontario sat at the front of the Dragon Bike as the Lead Riders for Charity.
